Dual Bowls are irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind castings made with an unexpected combination of two metals. They are affordable art pieces, as well as functional objects, fabricated with unique sand-casting methods developed with Alwafi Foundry in Kuwait.
For D3 in Dubai 2016, we managed to make our first 60cm Dual Bowl, pictured in the images. It is not an easy feat but the results are beautiful. The piece is poured from the highest value metals copper and brass. In this process both metals are poured while molten into a single form. This is the most experimental method and creates a natural and merged transition.
This Dual Bowl has a live finish that will patina naturally with time adding to the beauty of the product. The bowl is engraved with the standard company logo on the bottom and comes with a personalised edition card and P.L.U Book.
